The classic EBC trek begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu (or Ramechhap) to Lukla, a thrilling gateway into the mountains. The trail passes through several iconic waypoints:

1. Lukla to Phakding – A gentle introduction along the Dudh Koshi River.
2. Phakding to Namche Bazaar – Cross suspension bridges and climb into the bustling trade hub of Namche.
3. Acclimatization Day in Namche – Optional hike to Everest View Hotel and Khumjung village.
4. Namche to Tengboche – Reach the beautiful hilltop monastery.
